We?ve just added a powerful new resource to World Vital Records ? the MyHeritage Family Trees Collection, an exclusive database with more than 400 million tree profiles and tens of millions of associated photos.
Using this data collection, researchers can find trees which connect with their own or lead to new information about ancestors. ?Now you can quickly find information and learn from other researchers and discover family members and yet unknown distant cousins as you search this large, dynamically updated collection.
SEARCHING THE COLLECTION
To search the trees, simply log on to your World Vital Records account and click ?Search>Card Catalog? to go to a new page showing the MyHeritage Family Trees Collection.

In the MyHeritage Family Trees Collection, search by given and family names as well as birth and death years, which are available to make your search results more relevant. This collection is also included in any global search you run across all of World Vital Records.
Once you have searched using as much or as little information as you have, results will be listed in the search results page.? See below the results for the search on John F Kennedy.? Your family may love to hear that you?ve found a page about your ancestors, which will increase collaboration and sharing and may lead to additional discoveries.
At the top of the page is a genealogical summary ? Birth, Death, Father and Mother.
Following are the key events in the person?s life including birth, education, occupation, marriage and death.? Also included are his title, nationality, religion and burial location, plus any other information entered in the family tree whence this record came. ?Important: to protect privacy, information about living people is NOT disclosed.

Next is a listing of family members.? Each family member is in blue ? meaning linked ? to their respective person page in the same family tree.? Feel free to navigate and explore! Under the family section, the relationships are detailed to make your search easier, and the page includes parents, siblings, spouse(s) and children.
CONNECTING WITH CONTRIBUTORS
World Vital Records and MyHeritage have provided a way to contact the site manager who submitted this tree and the related photos via hyperlinks at the bottom of each page.? First follow the link to view the corresponding tree profile on MyHeritage.
Once on MyHeritage.com, click ?Contact Site Manager? and follow the instructions.? ?Please be courteous and provide information about yourself and the reason for your contact when reaching out, to significantly increase the chances of hearing back from the other user.
Connecting with the contributor who is a site manager on MyHeritage
This feature provides the important opportunity to contact the contributor of this data. Once you make the connection, you can ask the site manager about the sources of information he or she used to compile that data and request more information about the family of this person. Checking sources can determine the validity of family history information and confirm the connection between two trees. Getting in touch with another user is a unique privilege that is often not available when researching other types of records, such as birth, death and census records, and you are welcome to take full advantage of it.
